Prince’s estate has filed a lawsuit against a sound engineer who worked on theDeliverance EP that was made available as a pre-order on iTunes Wednesday. The Associated Press reports that Paisley Park Enterprises and Comerica Bank filed their suit against George Ian Boxill, who is attempting to release the handful of tracks without authorization.

The suit also alleges that Boxill is trying to exploit the songs for personal gain and has no right to the recordings–which are believed to be worth more than $75,000. The Estate has also removed from iTunes the pre-order for the Deliverance EP, which was scheduled for release on the one-year anniversary of the singer’s death this Friday.
