The Cure will release their 14th studio album, titled 4:14 Scream, sometime later this year. The record is a follow-up to the band’s last new release, 2008’s 4:13 Dream.
The Cure will also be touring the world this year in a “Trilogy” style — they’ll perform three of their albums, The Top, The Head on the Door and Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me, in their entirety.
It’s a familiar format for the band. In 2002, they performed a trilogy of Pornography, Disintegration and Bloodflowers, and on a 2011 tour they played Seventeen Seconds, Faith and Three Imaginary Boys.
The Cure also plans on releasing a series of live DVDs later this year.
