It’s shaping up to be a very busy year for Tyra Banks. Just days after revealing that she will be the new host of America’s Got Talent, the model and business woman has revealed that she will also be returning as the host of America’s Top Model, replacing Rita Ora. “Tyra has always been the heart and soul of the franchise and her absence was deeply felt by our fiercely loyal fans who missed their Queen of the Smize,” Ken Mok, who co-created Top Model with Banks and Kenya Barris, tells Deadline. “We’d like to thank Rita Ora for being a great partner and total pro.” Banks adds, “After giving it a lot of thought, I realized that remaining behind the camera wasn’t enough because ANTM is woven into my DNA.” Top Model aired for 22 seasons on UPN and The CW before being rebooted by VH1 this year.
